Garment 1 of 10 for my collection.
I finished this last night – and I am so satisfied with it!
I want to wear it all day, everyday.
- 100 % Virgin wool (same as the skirt, but the skirt is not in the collection! that was a school assignment)
- The vests’ hem ends just above the knee
- It has super high slits (my thoughts: so you can stick your hand into your trouser-pockets underneath = nice and also somewhat practical)
- The closure is a huge square that is attached with snap buttons
I love it from the side. And man, I just love high splits and how they move when you walk.

To complete the outfit I will make white wide pants that are kinda similar to the ones I’m wearing – in silk or washed silk.
I was also planning to make a superbasic silktop – but as I was trying it on, I actually like it a lot with nothing underneath! Agree?
I’m gonna ask my mentor if I’m allowed to skip the top, and make my model show some skin.

This ensemble is amazing! You look hot. You’ve done such a great work. It’s definitely a major minimalistic and edgy piece I’d love to have. And showing some skin is actually not bad! Cool! I’d definitely wear this! Really like how it looks with the square bit open. The silk trousers you plan to make will look amazing with the wool. And I agree- nothing underneath looks great! Although I couldn’t get away with that! Maybe a white bandeau top would look cool so you just see another straight line across the chest? Anyway, I’m sure your show will look fantastic- cant wait to see pics! X
