Right now we’re working on the group project, which is going to turn into a dress as a final result.
As I was sketching / finding fabrics I wanted to use, I came up with an idea, and suddenly wanted to make something right away with that fabric to get a feel of it. So, here’s a top!

- Silk gazar
- Raw hems
And, these pictures have nothing to do about the functionality withing the garment – I just really like how the strap shapes while hanging on a hanger.

I remember I found this picture a while back on tumblr and immediately found it interesting.
Today I came across it again (thanks to the tips from you guys;), and clicked on the link for a interview with the designer, and discovered that he is from Norway!

I’m always excited to see new talented Norwegian designers! The fashion scene in Norway is pretty small, and it can’t even be compared to our fellow Scandinavians in Sweden and Denmark. Anyway, I’m sensing that the time has come for Norway to step up it’s game.

Anyway. I’m tired of fashion. Thoughts related to this seem to hit me a lot lately.
I need to write about this soon to get it out of my head and figure out what I’m really doing.
With that in mind…
Do any of you know of some good sites for inspiration? It can be whatever, just not fashion related, gah. (Unless it’s a really good article about it).
If you know a good site for architecture news, a magazine who does interesting interviews, or a good documentary etc. etc. tell me about it if you happen to stumble upon something!
Or this might be easier: instagram users that are cool/works with something interesting/travels a lot. I love stumbling across photographers that take beautiful landscape photos for ex. :)
